About Us
Talmid Studios™ is a joyful hub for Catholic education, faith formation, and evangelization — offering faith-filled content for the entire family. From animated children’s series and music to in-depth apologetics, catechesis tools, sacred art for prayer and meditation, and family-friendly resources, we provide a growing library designed to nurture minds and souls at every age and stage.
Everything we create is 100% free and accessible — with no subscriptions, no logins, and no fluff.

Our mission is to support families, catechists, and seekers alike by making the Catholic faith understandable, engaging, and alive. In a world flooded with noise and distraction, Talmid Studios is a lighthouse — a place where truth is clear, the faith is vibrant, and every soul is invited to encounter Jesus.
Why "Talmid"?
Talmid is the Aramaic word for disciple. It’s the language Jesus spoke, and it reminds us that to be a disciple is to follow — to learn, to love, and to live like Him. That’s the heart of everything we do here.

About the Founder
Talmida Ti
Talmida Ti is a Catholic convert & catechist who draws on years of ministry and teaching experience — from leading parish formation to working as an adjunct university instructor. She didn’t grow up in a religious family and experienced a difficult childhood, yet those struggles only deepened her desire to seek truth and healing. She spent years searching for God, bouncing between several Christian denominations and wrestling with common misconceptions about Catholicism.
Eventually, she began inquiry — the first stage of the RCIA process — where she met a mentor who patiently answered her questions and helped clear away those misconceptions. After a year of discernment, she officially entered RCIA and was fully initiated into the Catholic Church in 2015. Immediately afterward, she was personally invited to begin serving as a catechist for both RCIA and Adult Confirmation. She went on to receive advanced catechetical formation alongside deacons in her diocese, later leading all English-speaking adult sacramental programs for her parish, coordinating retreats, and preparing candidates for initiation.
For many years, her ministry thrived in the classroom and parish setting. But after losing much of her hearing, it became increasingly difficult to continue teaching in person. Rather than stepping away from service, she discerned a new path forward: bringing her gifts into the digital space. She set out on a mission to learn everything she could about technology, artificial intelligence, animation, and even how to build her own website in order to create engaging, accessible Catholic content. It hasn’t been easy — but as Mother Angelica always said, “You must be willing to do the ridiculous in order for God to do the miraculous.” And that’s how Talmid Studios™ was born.

Today, Talmida Ti produces faithful, engaging media across multiple platforms — including podcasts, blogs, devotional videos, sacred art, music, and an upcoming children’s animated series. While not officially affiliated with any diocese or parish, she is deeply committed to ensuring everything she creates is fully in line with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Her mission is simple: to offer 100% free, high-quality Catholic content that makes the big questions of life personal, accessible, and rooted in truth. And to every lost child who may stumble across her work, her message is this: “Do not worry. Look at the flowers in the field and the birds in the air. Just as God takes care of them, He will care for you too.”

In Honor of
the Real Saint Sharla
Talmid Studios is lovingly dedicated to the memory of my mother, Sharla — the true Saint Sharla — who suffered greatly in this life, but never let go of hope.

She battled mental illness, physical disabilities, isolation, and immense trials. Yet in the end, she reminded me that God’s promise is true.
On February 18, 2025, my birthday, surrounded by loved ones, she took her final breath just as we finished praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet. The moment we said the word “Amen,” her heart stopped — and she leapt into the arms of Jesus. We now share a birthday. She brought me into the world on that day, and I’m so grateful I was there to help her leave it.

Today — May 29, 2025 — is her earthly birthday. I couldn’t think of a better day to launch this site than in her honor. At 3 PM — the Hour of Mercy.

This project — every shrimp, every laugh, every quiet truth — is a tribute to her. Through suffering, God brought something beautiful. Through her life, Jesus taught me that sainthood isn't for the perfect. It's for the surrendered.

For sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us, and on the whole world.

Bye Bye Butterfly.
